Opening Thoughts:

Hello everyone welcome back to another trailer thoughts blogpost! As you can tell from the title, this will be regarding the new Avengers: Endgame teaser that was released in the morning of December 7, 2018. Every Marvel Cinematic Universe fan including myself literally couldn’t wait for this teaser trailer to come out once we saw Infinity War. Infinity War left all of us with so many questions and we knew Avengers 4 will clear things up. Infinity War is one of the greatest superhero films of all time but we all have a feeling that Avengers: Endgame will top Infinity War. Now let’s get into business as always!

What I Liked:

The main thing I liked about this teaser is that it shows how hopeless the entire universe has become once Thanos wiped out 50 percent of the population. The teaser shows the struggle of the remaining heroes we all know and love are going through and it really feels like the “Endgame”. In the beginning of the teaser, you see Tony Stark making a recording and you hear him say:

“Part of the journey is the end”.

Once he says that’s you know this movie is not messing around. I think Tony is making that recording for Pepper, and you wander if they are ever going to be reunited again. The footage where Captain America has a tear rolling down on his face really hits the viewer in the feels! I liked the footage between Black Widow and Captain America and the dialogue between them. When Captain America said

“We lost all of us. We lost friends. We lost family. We lost a part of ourselves. This is the fight of our lives.”,

you know the movie is gonna have a lot of heart and the characters we all know and love are going all the way to the end. I liked the footage of Jeremy Renner’s character of him training to become Ronin which was really cool.

When Black Widow tells Captain America it’s going to work out, he tells her,

“I know it is. Because I don’t know what I’m going to do if it doesn’t.”

That line just blew my mind and it makes me wander if he and/or Tony are gonna die in this film. Captain America is my favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe hero and you know a lot of emotions are gonna go down at the movie theater once we see who dies in the film. I also liked that the teaser did not reveal too much and that’s always a good thing. We want to keep making theories/assumptions and stay away from potential spoilers at all costs!

What I Didn’t like:

Nope, there is nothing from this teaser trailer that I didn’t like. What a flawless teaser! The Infinity War teaser and trailer was flawless as well.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I am just beyond hyped to see Avengers: Endgame at 2019. I know everyone else is as well and it actually might be my favorite film of 2019. 2019 is going to be a great year for movies. A lot of emotions are going to go down for sure with this film once we see it. All the MCU movies have been leading up to Infinity War and this movie. It’s going to be one hell of a ride at April 2019. Stay tuned for my teaser trailer thoughts on Spider-Man: Far from Home soon once it’s released! 🙂
