I’m Back! (Well sorta)

Well well well…….how the turntables. Bonus points if you know where that is from ;). I just felt like writing that.

As you can tell from the title, I am back writing content in my film blog. But I am not entirely back. This means that I will write whenever I get the time or whenever I am in the mood.

Where have you been?!

The last time I wrote something in my film blog was back at July of 2019 and that was the live action Lion King review. Since then, I was in a long hiatus. During the hiatus, I have been very busy with my personal life, my part time job, and college. With all these things going on in my life, I just didn’t have the time to sit down and write any content that I had in mind. Also I just lost the motivation as well too because I had other important things going on during that time. I am still busy with all these things currently but I want to keep my film blog alive as much as possible. As I mentioned above, I will be continuing to write content but it will not be in a scheduled basis. It’s really going to be whenever I feel like to write. I will try to publish something on a consistent/scheduled basis but I cannot promise anything. Before I was planning to write this post, I was also thinking of the future of my blog too. Which we will talk about now.

What do you mean “the future of your blog”?

What I mean by “future of my blog” is I might add other types of content in my blog instead of just writing movie reviews and film related content. I think that should be very interesting for me to do and I will see how that works out. It’s actually one of the reasons why I decided to come back and writing content because I believe if I write about other entertainment topics that I love, it could make my blog more unique. Again, this is still under the “testing” process so I will see how it works out. For instance, I could talk about the New York Yankees (my favorite baseball team), World Wrestling Entertainment, my favorite video games, etc. I already have in mind what topics I want to talk about to start off. In WWE, the Money in the Bank Pay Per View is this Sunday, so maybe right after the Pay Per View, I will actually share my thoughts on the pay per view and what I liked and not liked. We shall see how works out. I’ve been playing a lot of video games lately, so I might review some of the games that I played recently. Therefore, my blog might be called more of an “Entertainment Blog” instead of a “Film Blog”. I think that’s more suitable because it will expand my content to a different level and hopefully it will attract many visitors to my blog.

Have you been impacted by COVID-19?

With what’s been going lately around the world, many people have been impacted by COVID-19.  I have been impacted as well but not in health terms. I’ve been impacted financially because I decided to take time off during this pandemic and it’s always better to stay safe. I’m financially fine due to unemployment benefits, but I will be working whenever this pandemic settles down. I’m hoping I go back to work during the summer. So I have been quarantined for a couple of weeks now. In terms of college, my new semester starts next week and I do online college. Therefore, I’m gonna be really busy soon. That goes back to whether if I can write blog posts on a scheduled basis. Even if I am free, I’m probably just going to relax and either watch a movie, or play a video game, or spend time with my family and friends, etc. during that time. So I can’t guarantee all the time that I will write blog content whenever I’m free. But other than that, I hope everyone else is staying safe during the pandemic and we will get through this! Stay tuned for another blog post soon……hopefully hahahaha! Have a great day and take care!
